OUR NAME CHANGE

FAQs for Vendors and Business Partners

Yes, we remain a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Our legal name will continue to be Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation. We will remain a nonprofit. We are only changing what is referred to as our ‘familiar’ name, similar to when we started using ‘TG.’ We will be doing business as Trellis Company.

Any changes are anticipated to be small, and for the most part, focused around the change in our name and our logo. For example, if you have used the TG name and logo before, please replace it with Trellis Company and our new logo now. In addition, company email addresses will be updated to @trelliscompany.org (although the old @tgslc email will continue to work through a transition period).

If you need a copy of our new logo, email communications@trelliscompany.org or work through your normal contact person.

No. Our guarantor (GA) code is not changing. We will continue to use GA Code 000748.
