CARES Act Refunds

On March 30, 2021, the Department of Education and President Biden extended the expansion of COVID-19 emergency relief measures to defaulted student loans made through the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program and held by guaranty agencies.

What does this mean?

Any involuntary loan payments, such as income tax refunds and wage garnishments, made to Trellis Company on defaulted loans from March 13, 2020 through December 31, 2022 are being or have been refunded, even if you are working towards Loan Rehabilitation. You may also request a refund of your voluntary payments during this same timeframe.
