New website provides college students with money management tools, tips, and resources

Round Rock, TX – Trellis Company, a nonprofit with the dual mission of helping student borrowers successfully repay their education loans and promoting access and success in higher education, announced the launch of their new public service website for college students, MOSAIEC (formerly known as AIE). The site helps students to identify the best ways to pay for their education and graduate with the lowest amount of student loan debt possible.

Launched as Adventures in Education (AIE) more than 20 years ago, MOSAIEC is dedicated to helping modern college students, who now come from far more diverse backgrounds and life situations than ever before. Using the site’s simplified information and tools, college students from all walks of life can also learn about additional resources available to them that can help reduce what they pay and what they may have to borrow for school.

“MOSAIEC is the next step forward in our efforts to help today’s diverse students understand, plan for, and minimize the costs of college,” said Donna Fritz, VP of Marketing & Communications at Trellis. “We’ll continue adding content and information to the website over time to adapt and meet the evolving needs of the students who can benefit most from this important information.”

The transition from AIE to MOSAIEC is the result of Trellis’ desire to better support the diversity found among today’s college students. The website provides tailored information for underrepresented college students (i.e., first-generation, minority, adult learners, and low-income) seeking a higher education. It explains how best to plan for and manage the cost of attendance based on students’ specific life circumstances.

You can visit MOSAIEC now at www.mosaiec.org.
